I have a kinda cool facebook fan page with some awesome photo albums that you might enjoy. It gives you a window into my work as an educator and motivator through the work of my PYP Grads. These albums have names like PYP Grad Websites, PYP Grad Accomplishments: The Ongoing Story - Tearsheets and PYP Grad Comp Cards. They display the work of some pretty amazing artists who started out exactly where you are, wanting to know what to do next, how to make connections, how to get a portfolio together, and how to make their mark on the worlds of entertainment, fashion and beauty.
Next, and the thing that everyone always wants to know about is my book, The Hair Makeup & Fashion Styling Career Guide. Well, it's known as, The Industry Bible, and not because I named it that, but because that's what other artists, like yourself, who have found its contents to be an invaluable resource have said about it.
Lastly, you may have heard about my 3-day portfolio building and marketing workshop. It's called the PYP workshop for short, and it's a class I teach each year in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Atlanta. You can learn more about it on my site or at eventbrite.com.
