Thought for the rest of the week: EXHIBIT PATIENCE.

Whatever your challenges are, the way out is not by complaining. Remember to praise Him in the midst of your trials, that you may be exalted in due time.  If you spend your days complaining about everything, might not the answering of your prayers just give you one MORE thing to complain about?

Says Joyce Meyer in Battlefield of the Mind,

“Patience is not your ability to wait,
but your ability to keep a good attitude while you wait.”

You may be placed in situations this week that challenge you and stretch the limits of your patience. Your way out is not to complain or be haughty, stomp your feet or mumble under your breath, take someone to task at the bank, grocery store, or over the phone, or make those loud breathy sounds in a public place so that everyone knows you are upset.

Quite the contrary, these situations are to be endured with grace, kindness and good temper. Thank Him now as you have been given an opportunity to grow and learn patience.

When are you 100%?

Hello Creative Decision-Makers:

I’m looking for one Makeup Hair & Styling Agent, one Photographer, one Publicist and two Art Directors who hire makeup artists for print (print advertising, entertainment or catalogue work) or celebrity assignments to join 7 other creatives in reviewing the portfolios of 6-8 makeup artists on Saturday, March 17^th at the 4^th Annual Makeup Show in downtown Los Angeles.

If you ENJOY empowering, educating and informing, please join us for an hour and a half on Saturday afternoon.

Every year Los Angeles hosts The Makeup Show LA for 2 days at the California Market Center.

As a former Makeup, Hair & Styling agent, I am hosting the Pro Resources area this Year which includes a Portfolio Review Area (March 17 Only) where artists will sit down for 10 minutes to have decision-makers like YOU evaluate and advise them about their print and/online portfolios.

It is my intention to create a dialog between you the creative decision-maker and the makeup artist attendees. In this perfect storm the artist will come to understand your needs and expectations and you will enlarge your talent pool by meeting and evaluating the portfolios of 6-8 makeup artists at the 4^th annual Makeup Show.

The Makeup Show is full of talented artists who need to know what YOU look for in their print and/or online portfolios. Many of you are approached badly, daily, by artists who don’t have the slightest clue as to what you are looking for in a book or online presentation or what will turn you off completely, causing you to NEVER consider hiring them for a job.   

Please come and tell them. I have 7 committed decision-makers and am looking for 5 more who would want to participate in the portfolio review area.
